Terms of use

01The essentials, in four points
- vonto is a tool for independent professionals, not for consumers. You are responsible for the invoices and figures you send.
- You keep the rights to your data and content, and you can export everything at any time.
- The assistant helps, but it can make mistakes — always check an invoice or an extraction before you use it.
- After a 14-day free trial, the service costs CHF 39.90 per month or CHF 390.00 per year. Cancel whenever you like; the subscription then stops at the end of the paid period.
02Publisher
The service "vonto" is published by Vonto — Miguel Moor, sole proprietorship, Avenue Victor-Ruffy 54, 1012 Lausanne, Switzerland. You can reach us at contact@vonto.ch.
03Accepting these terms
By creating an account and using vonto, you accept these terms. vonto is intended for professionals acting in the course of their business or profession, not for consumers. If you use vonto on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.
04Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Give accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us at contact@vonto.ch if you think your account has been used without your permission.
05Using the service
You may use vonto for your own professional invoicing and practice management.
You may not: use the service unlawfully or to break Swiss law; try to access other accounts or bypass the security and account isolation; overload, probe or reverse-engineer the service; resell or sublicense it without our agreement; or use it to store content you are not allowed to process.
06Your data and content
Everything you enter or upload stays yours. You grant vonto only the limited licence needed to host, process and display that content so we can provide the service to you. You can export your data at any time. You are responsible for the content you enter and for having the right to process your clients' data. If you are bound by professional secrecy, keep protected content out of free-text fields, as explained in the privacy policy.
07The AI assistant
vonto includes an assistant and automatic reading of receipts and dictation. These features use an AI gateway and model providers (see the privacy policy) and can produce errors or incomplete results. You must check every invoice, amount and extraction before you rely on it or send it — you remain responsible for what you issue. To keep the service available and affordable, per-user usage limits apply to the AI features; if you reach a limit, the feature pauses and resumes later.
08Availability and changes
We work to keep vonto available and to improve it, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may add, change or remove features, and carry out maintenance. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
09Subscription and payment
New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, the service costs CHF 39.90 per month or CHF 390.00 per year — that is CHF 32.50 per month on the yearly plan, saving CHF 88.80 a year. The publisher is not currently subject to Swiss VAT, so no VAT is charged. Should VAT registration become mandatory, VAT would be added to the prices with 30 days' notice under the price-change clause.
Payment is by card, handled by Stripe, and billed in advance for each period. You can cancel at any time; your subscription then continues until the end of the period already paid, and is not renewed. Started periods are not refunded. If we change our prices, we will let you know at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
10Ending the agreement
You can stop using vonto and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the law. When an account is closed, you can still export your data, and we delete it as described in the privacy policy.
11Technical providers
vonto relies on third-party providers — for hosting, payments, email and the AI features — listed in the privacy policy. We choose them with care, but we are not responsible for their own services beyond our role in providing vonto.
12Intellectual property
vonto, its software, design and brand belong to Vonto — Miguel Moor, sole proprietorship. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. Your own content and data remain yours.
13No professional advice
vonto is a software tool. It does not give tax, accounting or legal advice, and it does not replace your accountant or adviser. You are responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of the documents and figures you produce, including VAT treatment and your bookkeeping duties.
14Warranties
vonto is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we do not give implied warranties about fitness for a particular purpose. We do commit to providing the service with reasonable care and skill.
15Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability towards you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profit. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for gross negligence, for intentional fault, or where the law does not allow it to be excluded.
16Data protection
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. Where vonto processes your clients' data on your behalf, a data processing agreement is available on request at contact@vonto.ch.
17Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — for example to reflect new features or legal requirements. If a change is significant, we will let you know in good time. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
18Governing law and place of jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction for any dispute is Lausanne, the registered seat of the publisher, subject to any mandatory place of jurisdiction the law reserves for you.
19Miscellaneous
If one clause of these terms is found invalid, the rest stay in force. If we do not enforce a right straight away, that does not mean we give it up. You may not transfer these terms to someone else without our agreement.
